alchemy of stars

what of the world
a bejeweled turd
cast off god glow and
put out with the garbage
laser soup and
gladiator sack race
glory tented sky
wazat? to the stumblebum
and fruitcake to the core
sand sifted alphabets
like ancient scrolls in a fountain
blaze and rapture
lost fire and
desperate humor
naked cry and swell
arthritic hand of god
twitching aiming
at the ground
awake from the dark dream
where angels read poems
of the night
beneath the skewered moon
regaled in cloud fashion
god looked in the mirror
and death to the world
thousand-singed and
bleating wings
yet some would
simply smile
